I'm not really excited to do this essay, because writing isn't the easiest thing for me. Especially when I think about the five to seven page length. I know Amanda exlpained that she doesn't want us writing to a specific length, but to just write until its "complete", and I'm not sure if I have ever written an essay like that. Each year in school I just think to myself "ok, time to type 3 pages and be done with it." So as soon as I tapped into that fourth page I would finish it up. Also, I'm pretty articulate with my writing so I usually tend to get my point across way too soon in the essay. I wish this was a three page essay instead of what seems like a novel.
Today's the last day for walk-ons on the football team so I'll find out if I made it or not. Ten kids were competing for one or two spots and I'm in the middle of the pack so it could go either way. I didn't know football was that big of a commitment and I've got a lot of respect for the guys that can compete in the classroom ontop of competing on the football field.
